Faith over fear! Unwavering faith even through the fires of life.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

I’ve wondered about this and the guy makes some good points. I’ve read about a few Kindle authors who got into publishing companies, but they never got the same fame they had as a Kindle author. I think with a .99 cent book, you get more sales because the book is cheap enough to take a risk on. This can be misleading to agents and publishers who are simply looking for a high-selling book. It doesn’t mean the book is good enough to thrive under a professional publisher.
I love his conclusion that self-published books are only one source of new authors, but I don’t think things will ever go entirely in that direction. There are a lot of new authors who refuse to go this route out of either fear or thinking that such a path is not for them.
Thanks for the link. Interesting article. I’ve heard this mentioned a few times recently and so many differing views on whether it is or isn’t. 🙂
