Get er done. I got er done. My first submission had page numbers but I forgot my name and Book title, ugh. I may have to withdraw and resubmit. Got the second submission done tonight. I’m done except the fine tuning on chapter 4, and got a good start on chapter 5 yesterday.
The first was relatively easy since it was an online form and they accepted .doc files. The author bio was tough. Patience will now be the thing. This publisher takes 3 to 9 months to go through submissions. So, back to my next 6 chapters. whew. I’m glad that step is out of the way.
My hands are cold. My feet are warm in their slippers or they’d be cold too. My stomach is warm from the coffee or it’d be cold too. This should be exciting. It is exciting. Blog, oh blog, my accountability partner. If I say today is the day that I submit my first three chapters to a couple of indie publishers then that commits me, right? I have no choice after clicking the Publish Post button. The writing is done. The query letters are nearly done. I know where I am sending these. I’m up early enough. But, I do have to mow the lawn today. This is a milestone in the past 16 months work. Ugh. Just do it, Ty. Just do it.
