So much good…

So much good...

this week. Wow. Rain, of course. We wouldn’t be green in Washington without the rain. We wouldn’t have moss on our trees without rain. We wouldn’t be so depressed without the rain.
But, enough about rain, we want to talk about the GOOD!

So, much good music this week! If you are a new release Tuesday freak like me you should have an ear to ear smile. Dream Theater, Sarah Jarosz, CHVRCHES, Elton John, Tarja, Au Revoir Simone, Mazzy Star, Kings of Leon, Phil Wickham, Matt Redman, Gungor. Please listen to at least some of the new music every week. It will expand your mind, and if loud enough, damage your hearing. Nothing like listening to Bluegrass on 10. 🙂

So much good in writing. I have my first three chapters of Peace Border written and, as I mentioned earlier this week, I actually like them now. I ran them past my editor for one last sanity check (there always is the possibility that I am delusional). She said it looked ready for submission after one last tweak. That is this week’s assignment. Oh, and I now have two places to submit the first part of the book. This could be my first rejection e-mails. I will frame them. If I am fortunate enough to get an acceptance I will continue to listen to Bluegrass on 10.

So much good in weight loss. I started out my efforts to drop 20 pounds back at the end of June. I made my goal yesterday morning. I’m pretty darned excited. Must be all that Bluegrass on 10. Or perhaps the 1800 calorie a day diet and 5 days a week in the gym. I’m going with Bluegrass on 10.

Don’t you love it when you work and grok and work and flounder for months until finally, BAMM, so much good.
What’s been your good this week?

  1. I had a great week too. I was given a bulb-fest visit to a garden centre and have been flat out pruning, digging, planting and the sun has shone throughout. Writing took a back seat, but an old novel got a review…so… and I am listening to my kind of music.

Glad to hear it. Good to have favorite music.

  2. Man, you’re in a good place right now! Congrats. Maybe you’ll take out the bass and play along with something to celebrate…

I don’t know why, but that pic of the vinyl record is almost pornographic! The kids have missed out on so much with their mp3’s. 😉

Yep. Love vinyl. Better album covers, better sound.
      And thanks!
