Disappearing Act

Disappearing Act

I haven’t fallen off the planet nor given up the dream. I’m just dealing with some new health issues (type 2 diabetes). It’s been hard to concentrate this week. I have a feeling I’ll be a bit MIA next week too. Keep writing!

And, as Ahnold says, “I’ll be back.”

Would you like me to nominate you for the Sunshine Blog award? πŸ™‚ I just got the award and I was not sure if you would want to be nominated … Hope things are going good!

That is very nice nerdy. I’m probably too late. I’ve been off WP most of the week. Thank you for thinking of me.

      • thenerdyscribe said:

Hope you are feeling better soon! Would it be alright if I did a post in your honour with a link to your blog?

        • tyroper said:

That’s very thoughtful, but really not necessary. I’m just adjusting to new medicines and happy to be back. Hope you are well. I’ll have fun today/tomorrow catching up on your posts!

I am doing great! πŸ™‚ look forward to reading your future posts! The one on dwarves was neat. πŸ™‚

Thx. I really liked your “chubby spider” post. I saw the pic on wired. awesome.

Best of luck. We’re thinking of you.

  3. Just remember – diabetes feels like a sprint at diagnosis … so much to learn about food, exercise, mood, and blood sugar; fingers to prick; pills to take, maybe shots to give … but it’s actually an ultra-marathon so pace yourself!

    • tyroper said:

Thanks. Yeah, I’m a bit overwhelmed right now.

  4. Take care of yourself! Listen to what your doctor tells you! Will be thinking of you.

  5. Reblogged this on Wyndy Dee and commented:
Feel better….been a little MIA myself!

  6. Mary said:

Take care and see you when you get better!

  7. Get feeling better! I know it can be hard to deal with. It’s the reason that weight loss has been one of my primary goals.

    • tyroper said:

Thanks. Yep has been my primary focus. I just didn’t lose it fast enough. Diagnosed type 2 this week. Still learning what I have to do to manage.

    • tyroper said:

Thank you. I’ll be back. I just need to figure some health stuff out.
